Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters

Our second meeting began by introducing the picture book Mufaro’s Beautiful Daughters.
This story is set in Zimbabwe with a fabulous message. It has all the hallmarks of a traditional fairytale: good sister, evil sister, eligible prince, a touch of magic and a wonderful message.
The girls we fascinated by this story and, as usual, I was impressed by the depth of their discussion.
My favourite conclusion drawn was that even nature reacted differently to the kindness of Nayasha.
