Important? ... not as Important?

After exploring a little further into the conditions and situations of some of the world’s refugees.

One could consider: what are the educational needs of these children and what is important and not as importance in their learning spaces.

Put simply I suppose the most important educational needs are:

• Feeling secure and safe

• Consistency in their learning

• Enabling educational experiences

• Drawing connections to their past and home

• Recognising their strengths

• Creating a positive learning environment

• Fostering community

Not as important:

• Classrooms brimming with technology

• Break out spaces

• Laboratories and studios

• Expensive sporting facilities
